Angel Knight is a Nashville TN native who began her studies at Tennessee State University yet became a Bachelor of Art’s graduate at Georgia State University in the late 90’s. Writing & inspiration is very important to Angel as she grew up singing & inspiring others since she was a child. At the ripe old age of 9, Angel Knight was performing in the same venue in Nashville,TN where Etta James recorded the famous debut “At Last” which she still favors as a classic. The Nashville New Era Club was also the favorite place to perform for legends like James Brown , Ray Charles , & B.B. King . She grew up performing with Grammy Award wining recording artist Gary Jenkins from the R&B group Silk, who were founded by Harlem native Keith Sweat. She has also performed with a variety of gospel legends from Bobby Jones Gospel,Ann McCrary, Beverly Crawford & Cee Cee Winans.

Angel enjoys philanthropic performances which she’s given for dignitaries such as Mayor Kasim Reed, Congresswoman Maxine Waters, & Humanitarian Mr. Wilbourn who welcomed President Barack Obama to his home for an unforgettable fundraiser.

Music has continued to be a display of service of her highest & best self.
