Angel Knight is a Nashville TN native who began performing live at the ripe old age of 9. She grew up performing with Grammy Award wining recording artist Gary Jenkins from the R&B group Silk, who were founded by Harlem native Keith Sweat. She has also performed with a variety of gospel legends from Bobby Jones Gospel, Ann McCrary, Beverly Crawford & Cee Cee Winans. Angel’s love of performing began in the same venue in Nashville,TN where Etta James recorded the famous debut “At Last” which she still favors as a classic. The Nashville New Era Club was also the favorite place to perform for legends like James Brown , Ray Charles , & B.B. King. It is also where she met & performed with Gary Jenkins from the R & B group Silk.

Angel enjoys philanthropic performances which she’s given for dignitaries such as Mayor Kasim Reed, Congresswoman Maxine Waters & Humanitarian Mr. Wilbourn who welcomed President Barack Obama & other President’s to his home for unforgettable fundraisers.

Music has continued to be her safe space & in alignment with her highest & best self.

Angel is also a published Author of the book “Love Letters in the Gardens” which sold in the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for over 5 years & Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport. Angel Knight is currently working on Volume II for Love Letter in the Gardens in hopes to be featured in Atlanta Botanical Gardens again & multiple Botanical Gardens locations. Angel also enjoys gardening, investing, reading ancient history, traveling abroad & all things that align with a peaceful lifestyle.
